K2 SMS Overview
Short Message Service (SMS) is a text messaging service component of phone, Web, or mobile communication systems.
An SMS enables you to send short text messages to any (SMS) capable devices e.g mobile phones and each message has a limit of 160 characters.

A Short Message service center (SMSC) is a network element in the mobile telephone network. Its purpose is to store, forward, convert and delivers (SMS) messages.
In order to send a text message using K2 network you must have a K2 message center number in your phone’s message settings. If your device doesn’t have a k2 message center Number, you will need to set it up by going to your phone menu and select Messages>Options>Message settings>SMS center number,
Then type in +256730000012 as the K2 message center number.
However some phones have slightly different menu. So you will need to check your phone’s manual in order to find instructions for your phone or call the customer care team on a toll free number 100 for more support.
